others may have wine, i have poetry

We don't read and write poetry because it's cute.

We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race.

And the human race is filled with passion.

And medicine, law, business, engineering, these are noble pursuits and necessary to sustain life.

But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are what we stay alive for.

being the strong one
being brave
being bold
being there
being here

for once
i want to be the one
who is allowed to be weak
and just let herself go
and fear all the fears
and cry out all the tears

Loved it. I wont say 'I know how u feel'.. Because Im not the strong 1 all the time, but I can understand from the bottom of my heart.

yeah sure it ain't easy to take things in ur srtide and be bold in the face of difficulties all the time etc. at times when ur'e on an emotional high, u jus can't muster all the strength to be strong .rather give in to ur tear glands and vent out stuff........
